Excessive overcrowding at Lillian Boat Launch and Park July 14, 2018

July 14 th 2018, around midday I drove through the Lillian Boat Launch and Park taking pictures again when I saw overflow parking of trucks, and cars, with boat trailers parked on both sides of Hwy 99, south and North of the South 7th street entrance road , on both sides of south 7th street, to and past the entrance to the Launch and Park all outside of the Park itself. The amount of vehicles and boat trailers was the most of those I had ever seen parked outside the Lillian Park ever.

I took pictures of the overcrowding of the park and the excessive overflow parking extending out South 7th Street all the way to Hwy 99 and up to almost Hwy 98. Many cars/trucks and trailers were parked in open spaces East of Hwy 99 where Bob Goodale auto repair garage used to be located and across to the parking lot from the Title office on the west side of Hwy 99. Vehicles with trailers were also parked along Hwy 99 south of the 7th street entrance road.

This is one of the reasons why we need to block the proposed boat Ramp and Park on Soldiers Creek by Perdido Beach Town. I am documenting the overflow and crowded conditions that day for evidence to help prevent a similar catastrophe from occurring on the residential lots that Perdido Beach has planned a rezoning of and proposed to develop a Public launch and park on located on the West bank of beautiful and pristine Soldiers Creek.

A series of pictures I took 7-14-18 of the overcrowded parking conditions inside the Lillian Boat Launch and Park, on both sides of South 7th Street outside the Park , and on both sides of County Road 99 at and adjacent to the intersection of South 7th Street with County road 99, and both sides of County Road 99 between South 7th Street and up to the intersection of County Road 99 and US Hwy 98 in Lillian.
